Today, 7th December 2011, South Hams DC Councillors approved the draft section 106 agreement for the new urban extension at Sherford near Plymouth. This is extremely positive news and leaves just one final approval required from Plymouth City Council which is due in February 2012. Once this happens the development is expected to commence in Summer 2012. Brooks Devlin have been involved in the Sherford project as sustainability advisor to the developers Red Tree since 2006.
We are pleased to announce that we have won a BREEAM 2011 Education project with South Devon College working on their new building “The Energy Centre” and their proposed demonstration house.
